Members: Daniel García (34), Fernán Contreras, Sergio Gabriel Ucci, Gabriel "Chiflo" Sánchez, Pablo "Strangler" Stella, Sergio "Mongo" Spadavecchia

Argentine punk rock and post-punk pioneers. Funded 1980 in Belgrano, Buenos Aires as a duo with members Daniel García and Pablo "Strangler" Stella under the name Los Psicópatas, renaming to Estado De Sitio with the addition of Fernán Contreras and finally Alerta Roja in mid 1981 with the coming of Sergio "Mongo" Spadavecchia from Gerli, (south) Buenos Aires. Later developments saw Sergio Gabriel Ucci replace Strangler on guitars and welcoming Gabriel "Chiflo" Sánchez on sax.

Regulars of venues such as Cafe Einstein, Parakultural and early Cemento, they closely associated with other scene pioneers Sumo and Los Violadores. Their late sound was heavily influenced by Sumo and other post-punk acts.

The chaotic lifestyles of it's members led to multiple hiatuses, ultimately leading them to disband in 1987.
