Members: Stefan Plonske, Michael H. Gartner, Claus-Conrad Zieme, Berit Rühl

German folk group, founded 1997 by Claus-Conrad Zieme („Conrad der Saitenreiche") and Berit Rühl („Berit, die Blume der Harmonie") and joined by Michael H. Gartner and Stefan Plonske. The group disbanded in 2002. Gartner and Plonske continued to operate with Wolgemut in the USA, while Zieme and Rühl formed a new German iteration, Wolgemut, with new members in 2005.

Both current bands consider the two original Wolgemut albums to be a part of their respective discographies.
