Emerging out of the pinnacle of the mid 90ies black metal movement, Eschaton have become a consistent, ever evolving force of the European extreme metal scene.

Over the years the band worked at their own pace and focussed on their unique approach to extreme metal: essence over image. Consistency over musical fads.

The essence of this approach was manifested on several releases over the past two decades and culminated in the current release LICHTKVLT, an aural supernova brought to life as a joined effort with Apathie from Germany.
