Real name: Hans Georg Willi Sturm

German composer, arranger and primarily reed player (saxophones, traverse flute, oboe), also keyboard and piano. Born 1935 in Hannover in Germany, died 1993 in Offenbach/Main. After working (amongst others) as part of the Holiday on Ice orchestra in the 50s he had a huge number of jobs as active musician in various orchestras/bands and in parallel he kept composing and arranging. Starting in 1969 he was employed for more than 20 years at the Hessischer Rundfunk (broadcasting radio station) in Frankfurt/Main to compile radio programs in the areas of rock, jazz and classical music.
