A Native American-Mexican musician, vocalist, writer and producer. Born March 17, 1941, in Coalinga, California, USA, near Fresno.Along with his brother Lolly Vegas, began performing in 1963 in Los Angeles, as a member of the Shindig house band. Co-founded the band Redbone in 1969 with Lolly.
