Singer, songwriter and Brazilian actress, born on January 28, 1983 in Campinas, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. She is the daughter of Noely Pereira Lima, and singer Xororó (from the Brazilian Country duo, Chitãozinho & Xororó). Sandy is also a former member of the Pop duo Sandy & Junior, alongside her brother Junior Lima).
Throughout her career, Sandy, who is one of the record holders in record sales in Brazil, has sold more than 20 million albums, half a million digital singles and has accumulated several wins and nominations for musical awards, including a Latin Grammy nomination. She was considered one of the 100 most influential Brazilian personalities of 2013 by the Brazilian edition of Forbes.
