American C&W singer (born January 27, 1922 – died April 11, 1998 in Coeur D'Alene, ID)In the 1950s, Gen Adkins performed with the Spokane, WA-based The Tune Toppers in the 1950s. Later she opened a record shop in downtown Coeur D'Alene, where her husband, Chester Dale Adkins, opened a recording studio and record label, Souvenir Records (11).
