Phil Judd's post Split Enz band, pulled together from the ashes of the Auckland punk band Suburban Reptiles in April 1979, after Judd produced that band's last single.Their January 1981 'Counting The Beat' single was a massive Australasian hit, and is still heard on radio and TV everywhere in New Zealand and Australia.
