Leo Rowsome

Leo Rowsome (born: Harold's Cross, Dublin, 5 April 1903 - died: Riverstown, County Sligo, 20 September 1970) was the third generation of an unbroken line of uilleann pipers. He was a performer, manufacturer and teacher of the uilleann pipes throughout his life. He had a profound effect on the evolution of Irish music, and was called "King of the Pipers"
