Silicon Attic was formed in 1997 by Yacco Vijn who was a full-time DJ at the time playing innovative trance and techno all over the world. Silicon Attic signed to respected British record label Blueroom Released in 1998, who released his experimental debut E.P. 'Arecibo Calling' and 'The Gas' on the More Signs of Life compilation album. As a DJ, Yacco was resident at the legendary Mazzo club in Amsterdam, Shambala in Vienna, REX in Paris, Alonby & BPM in Tel Aviv and a regular headliner at parties in Holland, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Africa, Israel, France and the UK.
