South Berwick, Maine’s Mara Flynn released two albums as Milksop Holly (1999 and 2000, on Shimmy Disc), and has sung on albums by Guy Capecelatro III, Jad Fair, and Hamlet Idiot. In 2011, Burst & Bloom released release her debut solo album, small as a heartbeat, backed by an all-star band of her friends. Her follow-up, wide open, was released in the summer of 2013. In November, 2016, she released the album Good Hands.
