The Caution Crew was a hip-hop duo from Riverside, California, in the early 1980s. The group included Mark Ross, also known as Brother Marquis, and Rodney Oliver, who went by Rodney O. In 1983, they released the singles 'Westside Storie' and 'Rythm Rock,' under the Galleon Records label. The group is notable for being one of the first groups from Southern California to release a 12-inch hip-hop record, and the subsequent success of both Ross and Oliver took in different creative directions, each forging their own unique paths.
