Voodoo Sioux are a 4 piece, bass driven hard rock outfit, hailing from Walsall in the West Midlands and Shifnal in Shropshire. The members are Jon "JB" Blakey – Guitar, Mario Ermoyenous – Bass, Nick Flaherty - Vocals, Nigel Halford – Drums
Throughout the 90’s, constant gigging, both locally and nationally, led to a hardcore fanbase throughout the UK and support slots with Terrorvision, Rockhead and Little Angels. Before signing to Bleeding Hearts/Music For Nations in 1994, the band recorded a 5K demo of the month in Kerrang! and winning the ‘Rock War’ on the Friday Night Rock show on Radio 1, hosted by Tommy Vance. After this, the band recorded a 4-track session at the world famous Maida Vale studios in London, which Vance aired on his Radio 1 show. The band also filmed a video for the song ‘Jesus Christ’ to be shown on mainstream TV, aired on ‘Noisy Mothers’, along with an interview with the band.

After a lengthy hiatus of over 12 years, a couple of support slots with Skin and Michael Schenker the band recorded and released a new album, Grotesque Familiaries.
