Members: Xavier Baró

PRIMAVERA NEGRA were four young musicians band from Lleida who took the name from the novel "Black Spring" by Henry Miller, who made a very personal kind of pop-rock. This cult band led by singer and guitarist Xavier Baró - who was involved in previous projects during the 1970s (Camps de Cotó y Tagomago) released a few works in the 1980s with the production of Manolo García and Quimi Portet (both in the famous spanish band El Último de la Fila) with a punch of good songs. Baró formed also Los Tormentos releasing only one album (in the 1990's he decided to leave his rock&roll influences and the spanish lyrics to achieve a solo career singing his own poetry succeeding in whole Catalonia. His most recent musical project is ARLO.
Band members were: Xavier Baró (vocals, guitar and kyboards), Artur Mercé (Guitar), Quim Ramón (bass) and Domingo Espax (drums) who dies in 2008.
