Electro Industrial band that was active in the late 1980s. Abortive Gasp were often supported by various guest musicians. Along with 'Girls under Glass' and 'Cancer Barrack', they were among the so-called Hamburg 'bunker bands', partly because of their defensive musical position in the guitar-heavy independent scene of the eighties, and partly because of their geographical proximity to the huge Flakbunker in St. Pauli.
