Real name: William Everson
American poet.Born September 30, 1912 in Sacramento, California, USA.
Died June 3, 1994 at the age of 81.
He was associated with the San Francisco Renaissance and Beat movements, publishing under both his secular and religious names. He founded Lime Kiln Press and taught at University of California, Santa Cruz. He was also a master handset printer.
