Scott Richardson was born in Maryhill, Scotland in the mid 60s, he moved to Australia in 2001 and formed The Maryhillbillys, comprising Dave Job (mandolin), Loff Kahans (fiddle) and Paddy Chong (double bass). Later Kim Volkman (dobro) and Steve Prictor (harmonica) joined.
