Alkemy is a jazz/rock fusion quartet from Bordeaux (France) formed in the year 2000. The group released one demo record in 2001 and their debut album 'Da 63 Projekt' in 2004 on which they balance their appreciation of metal music like Dream Theater and Queensryche on one side, and fusion like Miles Davis and Pat Metheny Group on the other.
