Scottish classical violinist. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music (1964-1968). Retired leader of Scottish Opera Orchestra. Associate leader of Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Co-leader of The Wren Orchestra. Principal with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and member of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra.
