Real name: Marc Lee Tanner

Producer, songwriter, musician and leader of the Marc Tanner Band, which released two albums of West Coast rock on Elektra beginning in 1979. After his Elektra contract ended, Tanner began composing film soundtracks, and is known for his work on Tin Cup (1996), Daredevil (2003) and Fright Night (1985). He also served as president of Chime Entertainment record label.

Tanner passed away of complications from heart disease on April 10, 2021 at his home in Brentwood, California.
