American gospel music singer.
Born May 8, 1944 in Longview, Texas, USA.
Married to songwriter Isadore Morrison.
Sister of Shirley Combs, William Franck Combs, and Jerry Combs.
She sang lead vocal on the song "Oh Happy Day" recorded in 1967 by the Edwin Hawkins Singers.
She sang with her siblings in the Combs Sisters of “All God’s Children Got Soul” at the 1969 Big Sur Folk Festival was documented on the concert film "Celebration at Big Sur". The song was her only solo single to crack the Billboard Top 100. Her family also had a group called the Combs Family Singers.
