Gary Gordon

Real name: Gary Ian Cowtan

Gary Cowtan, an UK musician from Southend and member of beat band The Shamrocks goes to Berlin, Germany during the beat-era of the 1960's for recording purposes.
In the 1970's he moves to Berlin and becomes studio musician and lyricist for Jack White. In that stage, he uses more and more the alias .
In 1987 he opens his own recording studio "The Sound Factory" in Berlin and meanwhile, he acts also as Songwriter, producer and engineer.
Two of his best known songs as songwriter are Marc Seaberg - Looking For Freedom, which was later covered by David Hasselhoff and the 1990 summer hit Charles D. Lewis - Soca Dance.

Gary Gordon used frequently the ANV-variant Gary Gordon-Smith, sometimes even on releases with an additional appearance of 'Gary Gordon'.
