In 1964 she recorded two Dutch (Flemish) interpretations originally performed by Manuela: "In Mijn Kalender" and "Varen Leer Je Op Zee", respectively "In Meinem Kalender" and "Schwimmen Lernt Man Im See".
Her song "Wondermooi" was one of the favourites during the preselections of Canzonissima in 1966. Unfortunately the song was excluded for the finals. "Wondermooi" had a longer duration than three minutes, which was against contest-regulations. One year later, in 1967, she made the finals with the song "Want Ik Hield Van Jou"
