Australian singer born in 1945 who sang Blue-Eyed Soul and Northern Soul. She started singing in 1960 aged fifteen with the Thunderbirds at Canterbury Ballroom and Preston Town Hall. She then joined Normie Rowe and The Playboys.
Marcie has toured with The Seekers, The Monkeys, Cliff Richard, Tom Jones and supported Gene Pitney on five national tours. During 1969 and 1970, Marcie & The Cookies performed throughout Asia, Europe and then the United Kingdom with Cliff Richard and the Shadows.
She now sings Country music and has released a couple CDs since her Soul career in the 60s & 70s.
