Sacha Toorop is a singer/songwriter born in 1970 in Liège (Belgium). Originally a drummer, he soon became a multi-instrumentalist artist, which led him to play and tour with Dominique A., Yann Tiersen, Adamo, Françoiz Breut, etc.

He released his first album 'Red Poppies' in 1998, under the name of Zop Hopop, singing mainly in English.

In February 2006 he released 'Au Clair De La Terre', his first album under his real name and exclusively sung in French.
