Enid Katahn, born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania in 1932, is a concert pianist formerly on the faculties of George Peabody College for Teachers and Blair Academy of Music in Nashville. Katahn has been at Blair School since 1966, having earned her bachelor of music degree at the Hartt School of Music, Dance and Theatre in Hartford, Conn., in 1955 and her master of music degree at Peabody College in 1970. She currently holds the title of professor of piano emerita. Married to Martin Katahn, mother of T. L. Katahn.
