American musical arranger, record producer and composer.
Born July 9, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Died January 8, 2017 (age of 86) in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Father of actress Tracey E. Bregman. Nephew of songwriter Jule Styne.
Bregman worked with many popular artists of the 20th Century, including Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald and Ethel Merman.
He charted twice in 1956 with songs sung by Gogi Grant: "When the Tide Is High" hit #75 in the U.S. and "You're in Love" hit #69 (both co-written by Herbert Newman).
