Sally Norvell
American singer, writer, producer and director.
Norvell started her musical career in Texas, singing in punk bands and going on to form the swing-influenced band Prohibition. In 1990, she co-founded Congo Norvell with Kid Congo Powers in Los Angeles, California. The band relocated to New York in 1994. After Congo Norvell ended, Sally Norvel continued to perform as a solo experimental cabaret act.
