Real name: Paul Halperin

White blues singer, guitar player & songwriter.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas.
Red haired & Texan, hence "Texas Red".
Led "Texas Red and the Hartbreakers" in 1973/74 and from 1984 to 1987.
With this band, opened on 12 dates of 1985 Robert Cray US tour.
Was also the backing band of Charlie Musselwhite for his fall 1985 US tour.

Inducted in 2000 in the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame.
