Álvaro López, Jr. is a Mexican drummer, singer and producer. He was deemed one of the top 10 drummers in the world by Modern Drummer magazine in 1993. The devout Christian performer has toured with Jose Jose, Daniela Romo, Yuri, Pedro Vargas and Luis Miguel. Alvaro Lopez has also recorded his music in both English and Spanish. In 1995 he won a Dove Award for best international group with Torre Fuerte. In 1997 he left Torre Fuerte to found Alvaro López & Res-Q-Band.
