Johann Lorentz (born c 1610, Flensburg, then Denmark, today Germany - died April 19th 1689, Copenhagen, Denmark) was a Danish composer and organist of the Baroque period. 1631-1633 he studied in Italy and Germany and married the daughter of Jacob Praetorius in 1635. He was organist at Vor Frue Kirke, Copenhagen (1629) and St Nikolai, Copenhagen, from 1634 or 1635 on until his death.
