Sterbhaus is a Stockholm based quartet playing a form of Metal named "Metal Deluxe" which is to be described as Thrash/Death/Black/Heavy Metal which is neither retro or modern. The music is complemented with unique and witful lyrics and often with a social hidden agenda dressed up with an at times slightly humoristic approach.

Started in 2007 and previously hosted members of the Swedish comedy act Skitarg which had a large impact on the early work. The only remaining member from the start is Marcus Hammarström (previously Elvira Madigan) who since the reformation of the band (prior to the 2012 release "Angels for Breakfast ...And God for Lunch) - aside from playng the bass also handles the vocals. A collaboration for studio recording sessions with drummer Erik Röjås (Decadence, Netherbird etc) led to a firm position in the band in 2014.

The act is know for its wide array of very unique and entertaining high quality music videos.
