The Starlighters

Members: Imogene Lynn, Jerry Duane, Pauline Byrne, Vince Degen

American vocal group, popular in the 1940s through the early 1950's.
Often accompanied Jo Stafford, among others. The group formed in 1946.
Original members included Pauline Byrns, Vince Degen, Tony Paris, Howard Hudson, and future star Andy Williams, all alumni of Six Hits And A Miss. Williams soon left and was replaced by Jerry Duane. Byrns retired from singing in 1947. and Imogene Lynn became the Starlighters' female vocalist in 1949.
They aso recorded as "The Five Starlighters".
