Munawar Ali Khan

born Aug 15th, 1930, died Oct 13th, 1989 in Calcutta. Hindustani classical vocalist like his father, the maestro Bade Ghulam Ali Khan. After his father's death in 1968 he started giving solo concerts and faced the challenge as the "Khalifa" of the Kasur Patiala Gharana. He also started teaching and was a successful performer at All India Radio and international events.
