Carcinogen, a death metal and grindcore trio from Irvine, Orange County, California, was formed in 1990 and remained active until 1996. The band disbanded after lead guitarist Scott Fuller succumbed to kidney failure on December 19th, 1996. Notably, Carcinogen included Anthony "Dino" Sommese, who would later gain fame with Dystopia, Ghoul, and Noothgrush.
