Tore Foss

Norwegian singer, actor and stage director (born February 21, 1901 in Kristiania [now Oslo], Norway – died August 6, 1968 in Oslo, Norway)

Foss made his stage début with the "Chat Noir" revue in 1927. He acted both on stage and in 25 films.

Between 1928 and 1932, he recorded more than 10 titles, both as a singer and a pianist. Together with Einar Rose and Steinar Jøraandstad he formed one of the first Norwegian jazz ensembles, The Three Black Cat Singers.
