Jibóia is the project of João Silva, initially a moniker for his solo psychedelic ventures which resulted in release of his 2013 self-titled EP, followed by the 2014 collaborative record with Ana Miró (Sequin)"Badlav", it's first full length "Masala" came in 2016, were he was joined by Portuguese drummer Ricardo Martins, in 2018 "OOOO" was released with the project becoming a trio, as João was joined by once again Ricardo and also by Mestre André.
