Chase was an American Fusion band, formed in 1970 by Bill Chase.

Bill Chase, Wally Yohn, Walter Clark and John Emma died in a plane crash on 9th August, 1974. Their death brought the band to an abrupt end.
In 1977 the remaining members of the original lineup recorded an album titled 'Watch Closely Now', together with Walter Johnson (2).
