Eriko Tsukayama
Real name: 塚山エリコ
Eriko Tsukayama is a composer, arranger, conductor, orchestrator, keyboardist, organist, and pianist musician from Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. She's also one of Electone personal artists in the Yamaha Electone community. She's also one of JASRAC members (Japanese Society for Rights of Authors and Composers), also a member of MPN, a joint organization for processing the rights for performers.Eriko Tsukayama (塚山エリコ = つかやま えりこ) was born in December 11th, unknown year. Under the influence of his grandparents, uncle, and aunt who were active as musicians, he started playing the piano from an early age and made his debut as a professional player while in high school. While working on Yamaha- related work such as TV, radio, and stage, he has been active as an electone player on TV programs such as " Taisho TV Yard ", " Love Attack! ", And " Good Morning Studio " . After that, while working as a keyboard player, he studied composition and arrangement repeatedly, and from around 1987 he became a composer and arranger. Recently, he has been performing piano organ live performances, etc., in between composition and arrangement activities.
In 2015, the fusion band "POPPIN'4" was formed by members of Eriko Tsukayama (Keyboards), Takayuki Hijikata (Guitarist), Kiichirou Komobuchi (E.Bass), and Yuichi Tokashiki (Drums). 2017 NYC recording 1st album "Made in Manhattan" released from King Records. To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the band's formation in 2020, she is developing a wide range of activities such as radio appearances and commemorative live concerts.
