"A former Montgomery Countian, Gil Millam, who records under the name of Jake Baker.... Millam plays harmonica and rhythm guitar, in addition to his other talents." His performing experience goes back to the 50's when he played for GI's in USO shows in Korea. He performed locally at the Silver Ballard Hall in High Hill, a place he and Leroy Haslag started to provided a showplace for local talents."
