Very obscure US alternative/prog rock band from El Cajon, California, active in the early 1970s. Their best known song, which was known by DJ Shadow fans as "I'm Just a Star on a Democratic Flag" until 2017, appears at the end of the 40 minute mix of prog rock tracks comprising Disc 2 of DJ Shadow's album "Diminishing Returns".

Indie rock group Pink Flames covered the song as a single in 2016. In 2017, a 7" was submitted to Discogs, revealing the title to be "Just a Star", also revealing another song title, "Dedicated to Mama". A Reddit user tracked the songwriters of "Just a Star", Larry Smith and Rich Norkunas, down in early 2018.
