When Anund came to the USA from Norway in 1951 he was at his peak in playing. He held championship for many years. He got his first violin at the age of 7 and took the first prize for playing at the age of 14. He has played for dance groups, workshops, schools, and at both the Worlds Fair in Seattle and Spokane. He has his music taped at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. & a copy of that has been sent to the State Capital in Helena, Mt.
