Real name: Elisabeth Maria Anna van Endert

Elisabeth van Endert, born March 23, 1877 in Neuss, Germany, died February 27, 1956 in Zurich, Switzerland, was a German opera soprano and narrator. She sang at the opera houses of Dresden and Berlin and emigrated to America in 1935. Van Endert recorded around 1911 on Anker-Record, Homokord, Parlophon and Pathé, then, from 1912 to 1932, exclusively for Gramophone/HMV/Electrola. Her husband was Electrola manager Leo B. Curth (1875–1933).
