Canadian actress, singer and star of vaudeville, Broadway & silent films.
Born June 27, 1862 in Whitby, Ontario, Canada
Died October 22, 1938 (age of 76) in New York City, New York, USA.

She charted as a singer in the U.S. in 1907 with the song "The Bully"; it hit #7 on the U.S. charts. She was a Broadway actress of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
One claim to fame is that she performed the first onscreen kiss in movie history with John C. Rice in The Kiss (1896). She also wrote a few songs that were recorded.
