Real name: Rev. Ivy Ernest Rippetoe
(1892 - 1962) pastor of the Washington Street Baptist Church and former president of the Texas State Singing Convention. Member of The Stamps Quartet. Composed many religious songs which were published by the Stamps-Baxter Music Co. Father of vocalist Royce Rippetoe.
