American jazz trombonist, born October 17, 1900 in Louisville, Kentucky, died July 23, 1931 in New York City.One of many fine musicians to come out of Louisville, Kentucky, Harrison played trombone with many historic outfits in the '20s. He passed away in a private hospital of a stomach disease.
