Real name: Rubin Lacy

Delta blues singer and guitarist.
Born: January 2, 1901 in Pelahatchie, Mississippi
Died: November 14, 1969 in Corcoran, California

Lacy recorded four titles for Columbia in 1927 and two for Paramount in 1928. The Columbia recordings were never issued and have never surfaced. He later was 'Ordained Minister of Missionary Baptist Church' and worked as a preacher from 1932 into the 1960s. Lacy later recorded gospel songs in February 15, 1966 released on Various - Sorrow Come Pass Me Around (A Survey Of Rural Black Religious Music).
