Bobby Jones

American jazz saxophonist (October 30, 1928, Louisville, Kentucky - March 6, 1980, Munich). Playing tenor and soprano sax as well as clarinet, Bobby Jones was lead saxophonist in Woody Herman's big band, before joining Charles Mingus, staying with him for two years between 1970-72.
