Thierry Durbet

Effective period / Period of releases: 1985

French pianist and arranger, born in Aubenas (1954). Wrote the arrangements to recordings by the likes of Gilbert Bécaud, Jeane Manson, Patricia Kaas, and Dionne Warwick. Also teamed up with Patrick Bruel, Jean-Jacques Goldman, and Ofra Haza. In 1990, he conducted the Eurovision Song Contest orchestra for Luxembourg's entry 'Quand je te rêve' by Céline Carzo. Moreover, he composed jingles and music for advertisements. As an orchestrator and composer, he was involved in writing film soundtracks, including ‘L’homme au chapeau de soie’ (1983).
