Herman Walder
Jazz alto saxophonist, born April 2, 1905 in Dallas, Texas, died in 1991.
Originally played trumpet with Jerry Westbrook's band; after an accident switched to alto sax, worked with Laura Rucker, George E. Lee, Harlan Leonard and others. Continued to work in Kansas City during 1950s-1960s.
Brother of Woody Walder.
